Hurst Billet Plus Shifter
Hurst Billet Plus Shifter I just installed this shifter a couple of weeks ago and the 2 to 3 shift is not positive at all i missed 3rd 2 times in a row 
. Has anyone else had this problem? I had a ripper in before and I have a Pro-5.0 at home I'm just trying different shifters to see which one I like better, want a shifter that I can powershift real hard into 3rd and not miss. This is not the case with the hurst, do you think the pro-5.0 will be better? sorry about the long post Thanks

I haven't missed a 2 to 3 shift yet.

i love the stock hurst
never had a problem shifting but since i shift like a mad man i was overthrowing the internal stops and fecking up my trans..(rebuilding now)
i baught the hurst billet becasue i could use my lss with it and the fact that they made the shifter that i loved so much
it is a very nice shifter and had no probel with the 2-3 shift
try adjusting the springs in the shifter base

My friend with a 94 T/A has one of those Billets, and he seems to like it pretty well. I haven't driven it, but he said the shifter throws aren't much shorter than his stock shifter. I don't think he's had problems hitting 3rd, but I think a Pro-5.0 would be a little more race friendly, but my guess is that the Billet might feel a little more like the stock shifter and a little less notchy than the 5.0.
