Default Confusing problem with my M6

When I have my clutch pedal pushed down to the floor and the car is in gear the car still moves as if the clutch is partially engaged. I put the clutch in approx. 2,000 miles ago and when I first installed the cluch and would rev the motor with the clutch pedal completely down to the floor the car would accelerate a little. It seems as if the problem is only getting worse. I have a spec stage 3, fidanza alluminum flywheel, and updated gm hydraulics. I don't have any idea where to begin with this problem. It is also hard to get it into gear. I'm guessing maybe because the clutch is not fully engaging. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also the shim was installed at time of clutch installation.

The most likely culprit is air. Getting all the air out can be a pain in the ***.

Air or the shim is too thick.

Edit: I meant thin, not thick. Apparently I'm retarded

So if the shim is to thick I assume that means I should take it out?

Ok well I've bled the system down and I know there is no air in it at all. The problem still persists. Is it possible I may need to upgrade to the Mcleod master cylinder? I already have the updated 01-02 master cylinder. I don't want to start throwing parts at it but I'm not sure what the next step is to take. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated.

Unfortunatly bleeding the system hasn't fixed my problem. The only 2 things I can think left that may be wrong is the master cylinder or maybe I need to add another shim. Like I said I don't want to start throwing parts at it but I'm afraid that's what it might come down to. Also the clutch, flywheel, and updated hydraulics have about 2,000 miles on it. People on other forums with the same problem have replaced there master cylinder with a Mcleoud and the problem has gone away. Do you think if I do this I'll get lucky and the problem with be cured?

I had the same problem, and then switched to the mcleod adj. master. I was able to adjust it to compensate for the "Still engaging when reving with clutch pedal on the floor." issue.
Check Ebay. I got mine new for 90 shipped.

For those who have the same problem that I've had I have some news about what has happened recently. I talked with several people from sponsors and from spec. 9 out of the 10 people I talked to said to change out the master cylinder with the mcleod. I swaped it a few days ago with a new mcleod adjustable master cylinder and bled the system down. I drove the car home 45 miles and still had the problem. Obviously I was not happy till tonight when I had to move the car. The clutch disengaged perfectly normal. I don't know what happened all of a sudden but I'm happy to know my clutch disengages perfect now.
