Only my knuckles are bleeding..... The 2 man pump bleed in just not working for me. Either there is still a ton of air in the McLeod and slave; or there is an air leak somewhere ( I guess the resevoir line fitting going into the McLeod master........you'd think for the price of this thing the barbed fitting would actually fit the hose ).
So I just ordered a MityVac 4050 Silverline Plus from Amazon.com. Should be here on Friday. Maybe I can learn how it works in short time, put a vaccum on the resevoir and be done with it!!

You might want to back off the adjustment on the McLeod some... we were bleeding the crap out of mine, and couldn't figure out why it wasn't holding any pressure. Turned out we adjusted it past the plunger thing so it wasn't moving any fluid... backed the adjustment off, then bled and bled it some more, and the pedal pressure finally returned.

I thought you could bleed the braided steel line/mc/reservour by inserting the mittyvac into the hole in the reservour and sucking out the air at about 20 psi (that's how I did bench bleeding of my cyl when I had it removed, but I would do the same thing even if its in). I had enough fluid in the reservour to make sure that there is no
free air getting in when I remove the pump (I had tiny bubbles coming out when I unplugged the mityvac)
I have RAM adjustbible clutch though (not Mcleod)... it is stack with adjustible tip on the pedal rod.
my clutch feels fine now, I did not have to bleed the clutch through the bleeder valve (but I was just changing the clutch master cyl on my '98, not the slave or the clutch itself)

I am going to try Buschman's slave sim to bleed through the slave fitting first, and then try it through the resevoir. I might be able to do it with the stuff still in the car........just have the MityVac on the ground under the car pulling toward the slave fitting at 5, 10, and 20 psi. Then through the resevoir build a quick 20 psi and slowly pump the pedal a couple times. If this does not work then I will remove all of the hyd. components.

What turned out from this? I am having this prob too but my master is all the way out for troubleshooting...and I have used the vac a bunch of times with no success.
