Default Blown Tranny???

Last night I was feeling brave so I did a hard run from 0-100. This is the first time i really slammed through the gears since i've had the car. Prior to this event I did have some issues with the tranny and the input shaft. Anyway, last night when i got to about 100 mph, the car popped out of 4th and then when I put it into 5th the revs just climbed but the car didn't accelerate. It is the same thing in all the gears. I just got a new clutch about 6 months ago and the clutch only has about 5-6k miles on it. I'm almost positive that the tranny has left me to go to a better place.... Any ideas???

I am 99% positive that it is not the clutch because I just experienced a burnt clutch about a year ago and this is totally different.

Try 4th gear , if you have 4th gear , your trans is blown . If you have no gears at all or if you can shift the trans with the engine running and the clutch is out ......... the clutch is toast . Hope this helps .....

As it turns out, it was the input shaft. It snapped in two. Clutch is fine.
