Thumbs up Recently installed Bendix slave cylinder....thoughts. (No pics)

Just to let you guys know, I recently took it upon myself to redo a bad clutch install by a local shop. Basically I removed the tranny and clutch, cleaned everything, and reassembled it with a torque wrench rather than leave some of the bolts loose like the shop did.
Anyway, while I was in there I decided to replace the slave cylinder because I forgot about it for the shop install. And I decided that since the GM hydraulics weren't perfect that I would spend $69.99 for the replacement piece from Advance Auto.
Side by side the pieces look almost identical, they are both fairly cheap cast aluminum and the both have cheap plastic throwout bearings. The hydraulic connection comes from the same OE manufacturer and the bleed size is 11mm.
I installed everything and bled the hydraulics. I have put about 500 miles on the assembly and it is acting exactly like the stock piece. I don't see any reason why this wouldn't last just as long as the GM piece.
It's about $50 cheaper than the GM piece and I am pleased with it so far.

I recently did a lot of work with the hydraulics in the clutch. I have found that Advance sells OEM parts repackaged. Not that that's bad especially if their cheaper. Did the slave cast base have the 'AP' marking on it. That would really indicate it was the same.

Do you have a part number for this? I can't find anything @ Advance's website and when I called they said they could only get the Clutch MC.

Thanks
Ben
