Default luk clutch kit?

what do you guys think about thier clutches ? need to replace clutch in my 99 m6 and curious on which clutch to go with

That reall depends on what your mods are. If you are stock, the basic LUK should work fine (its equal to a z06 clutch). If you have a small/medium cam with boltons and plan on racing your car at the track, you will want to run a clutch that is stronger. I really don't think the LUK clutches are worth the money though. But that is just me.

Luk makes the stock Z06 clutches and also the Pro Gold upgrade, both are quality units. I've got a stock Z06 ready to go in my M6 TA so I can let you know how it goes in a month or so.

You can look up the exact torque ratings, but a bolt on car probably only needs the regular Z06 and a car pushing 400 rwhp should have the Pro Gold. Search on Luk Pro Gold and you'll find contacts to order either one.

I have seen some McLeod sets have LUK pressure plate hats & diaphram springs.

thanks for the info next month purchase then stupid me found a good deal on ebay for a set of those new mickey t drag radials and bought those instead of a clutch

So typical. With those drag radials your stock clutch should last you about 4 launches so get the Pro Gold on order right now....
