Default Pulling the Trans

Do you have to bleed the clutch hydro..My and my buddy are going to pull it out in the next day or so..just wanted to double...Any good write ups on this...not a big project but doesn't hurt to ask...

If I remeber right I did mine a year ago I think you can bust the trans sepearte fromt he bellhousing and leave the slave hangine there maybe not. If your gonna bleed though get a miti vac

If you disconnect the line its a good idea to do a gravity bleed, its pretty easy, steps are on www.installuniversity.com

I plan on taking the trans out and leave the bell housing.. So do i have to disconnect the line?? or some way around it...

You can drop the trans w/o disconnecting the slave line. Just slide the trans back enough to get to the two 10 mm slave bolts. After you remove the bolts, pull the slave off the trans input shaft and let it hang.

even if you end up having to pull the line its not that bad honest, good luck on the swap.

Just drain the fluid and disconnected the hydro line...Pain in the butt getting tha clip off of the top bolt on the right side of the tranny...we are putting my buddys 5.0 back together at the same time..probably pull the trans tomorrow have some other things to take care of
