T56 in a 2000 Silverado Has anybody completed this project? Or have any suggestions. I am also looking to buy a T56, are all of them the same. Please help with any insight on this.

Use a 98-02 model T56 with a ls1 bellhousing and all the clutch parts . I would locate some standard pedals from a 5 speed truck and then its just working out the crossmember and shifter location .
