Ram Clutch Problems...NEED help....
I shure hope yall can help me. I bled the clutch also MANY MANY TIMES!! Pumped it about a 100 time (literally) to make shure bled again and again. Don hear any air coming out just fluid??
Please help if you can.......
1.) your slave cylinder / TO Bearing may be leaking.
2.) reverse bleed the system to ensure all air is removed.
3.) your master may be shot.
4.) look at the reservior level and pump the peddle a bunch and then check the level again. If it is losing fluid then you have a leak somewhere.
5.) is your clutch the VDS system?
pedal travel here
-------------
starts to release here
--
never gets a full release
after i adjust it the travel is here
-------------
starts to release here
--
still never gets a full release. Is this mod suppose to make my stock master pump more fluid??
--------------------------------------------------
The pedal goes as far as it use to distace wise just if i adjust it out it raises up. like 2 inches on top, then at full extention it is two inches off the floor. Same Distance of travel as always though?
1) i guess a leak is possible but no evedents?
2) dont think it has air but anything is possible
3) probly is the case here probly shot but worked fine before clutch chane. (chance becase i broke the disk never slipped or had trouble slipping.
4)No loss in fluid (except during bleeding)
5)VDS? i guess its the 402PP for the LS1?

It's not a simple adjustable rod that makes it work.
Internal to the master is a piston stop. You'll need to pull the master again, disassemble it. remove the piston, return spring, and spring seat. The spring seat is a cone looking thing, about 1.5 inches long. You'll need to cut it down about 1 inch.
This will let you make the rod longer, and get more fluid displacement.
It will move the pedal up, and you will get it to disengage because you'll then be able to get it to the floor.
Not sure why it didn't work though. I installed the same setup in an 01 Z w/o making the master adjustable. No problems, and the pedal actually moved up on it's own
