Default Used stock flywheel ok with spec?

Is it ok to use a used flywheel with used spec stage 3 clutch as long as you have them mated or whatever?

hate spec 3 clutches and make sure you look at the flywheel good...make sure it has all of the big glaze spots out or at least with crosshatch through them

I'm do'n a new clutch install right now. take the flywheel and have it machined at a shop. i woudln't reccomend putting it back together w/ out cleaning it up. it cost me $35 for a local shop to machine it.

Yeah any time you replace a clutch, the flywheel should be resurfaced or replaced. Also, the stock flywheel and presure plate are balanced together as a unit from GM, so if you just throw another presure plate and clutch on there, it won't be balanced as well as before. You should get the flywheel and presure plate zero balanced before installation.

So looking at $35 to resurface flywheel? And how much to balance?
