Throw out bearing??

Throw out bearing??

I have just picked up a new slave and it seems the whole plastic retainer piece and spring keep poping off the shaft...I picked it up eariler and the thing came off...Is this defective?? It just seems like the plastic piece might be worn some and its comming off with no effort at all...

Make sure its snapped in all the way.
If it is broken jujst pull the one off your old slave and re use it. Its easy to put the new bearing on there.

Thats what i was thinking mightymouse, i took the tranny out of my car today and tried to pop the black cap on the slave thats still in the car and it wouldnt budge so its going back tomorrow....
