Default Aluminum Flywheel People

So i'm gettin a bunch of stuff done to my car and i have a spec stage 3 and their aluminum flywheel. i was just informed by the shop that i need a new wear plate for this... which is $240! the flywheel alone is $400?! how can this be? does this sound normal, or is it just the sound of ANOTHER thing i need just sending me over the edge???

oh and is 30k good mileage out of a SS3? i need a new clutch and i think i'm going with the SS2... any opininons on that?

I have a fidanza aluminum flywheel and a spec 3. You don't need to order anything special if those are the parts you are replacing. I receiving both of mine new in the box and bolted them right up.

I had a spec 3 with the light wheight ption and the aluminum fw
got 42K out of spec (was still holding great but broke tranny) so when I rebuilt the tranny I got another spec 3 and the flywheel inserts. I can get them alot cheaper than 250 like alot cheaper pm me if you need help
