Mine does too, I've got 106k. I dont know if this is good or bad. I also notice if i shut off the engine with the trans out of gear I hear a loud knock, knock, knock. I dont think its the y-pipe, maby its the trans. It doesn't do it if its in gear though.

well I am thinking that knock maybe a trans mount and thats why the shifter moves to the right. I don't know.......my motor mounts look good but I have never looked around while someone shuts the motor off to really pinpoint the problem. I'm thinking the shifter moving to the right might be normal....thats just a guess

Drive any M6... new goat will do the same thing. Maybe not as severe since it has new mounts. But all move. If you get a banging or clunk then the mount needs to be replaced.

Yep, it's normal when you have a stock rubber mount. I have a poly trans mount and poly motor mounts and mine doesn't move at all under acceleration.

You can buy one from one of the sponsors... they range from $20-$25 or so. I bought my Prothane mount from Thunder Racing.

I figured this was all normal but not my knocking problem. How hard is it to replace motor and trans mounts with polyurethane. What advantages does the polyurethane bushings give??
