Strange clutch behavior

Strange clutch behavior All right guys, I need a little help. I've got a '02 TA with 2000 miles on it. When I'm driving around in traffic and come to a light I notice my RPM's are around 1900+ out of gear. When I press on the clutch again the revs drop back down to normal. When I really get up on it and come to a quick stop it's sometimes over 2000 rpms until I press the clutch in again. Is this normal or should I take it back to the dealer?

Re: Strange clutch behavior I've heard of this problem and people take the cars to the dealer and the mechanics tell them its a normal thing...there are a handful of guys out there with the same problem as you and they haven't figured it out yet... <img src="gr_sad.gif" border="0">

Well, I guess I'll just take it to the dealer just to put it on record. So if the clutch does go out I'll have a fighting chance. That sucks tho, I'm way too curious to not know what causes it. Of course I'm way too lazy to try and figure it out. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0"> <img src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />
