Please dont buy a Spec. Do a search on them. Theres a good sale on Ram clutches from Texas Speed in the GP section. It will probably be my next clutch.

FWIW, my Spec lasted 5k miles with no races and on radials Some have literally exploded.

Well I hate to say but SPEC. I have had two spec clutchs. The last clutch was a spec stg II with 5-7k with no problems, when I was at 370hp at the wheels. But just recently I went F/I and am at 507 at the wheels and the stg II started to slip at top end. So I just finished up a stg5 install. This clutch is great feels great no on-off pedal feel and the pedal feels like stock compared to my FireHawks clutch. Engine revs much quicker, feels like a different car, also have alum flywheel as well, on stg II and 5.

I can say this who ever installs your clutch make sure you use NEW hardware fw-pp and correct torque spec and keep things clean and oil free. And what ever you hear follow the correct brake in procedure.

Glad to help

With your mods I thing you would be happy with the stg 5, and when you head for the track you would be more than safe. IMO.

I was worried about the SPEC clutch as well before I installed mine with all the bad posts. I am no means a big time track driver but for driveablity I am happy now with my new spec stg5.

But to each his own.

so i ordered the TSP special on the ram powergrip...comaprable to the spec 3...440 shipped 2nd day air, and i also am getting upgraded hydrolics w/ the drill mod, and resurfaced flywheel. what do u guys think about this and how it will hold up to the power im gonna throw at it.

btw: TSP was great when i talked to them on the phone...all the advice they gave me lead me to a decision i am very happy with. its gonna be installed on thursday 6/9/05 and hopefully i made the right decision.

well the clutch is in and has about 300 miles on it already and all i can say so far is that damn thing grabs...makes the car seem like a different beast. so far i am really happy with it and hopefully i will continue to have good luck with it. little if no chatter and once i learn how to drive the damn car again. the only problem i see is that now i have to worry about my rearend more
