Not for a liberty. Maybe a G-Force.

So what is holding you back? You certainly aren't making the power to hurt that transmission. You need some heads and cam action.

What all would this entail? How much power could it handle?

The Liberty faceplate conversion is way less than that if you send them your trans for modifications.

We are still working on pricing and when it will be done exactly but it should be very close to what a g-force 1-4 unit is. We will also hopefully offering a 300m shaft instead of a 9310 which would be stronger.

Thanks,
Amber

Might as well do 4th if you do 3rd, you lose the 4th blocker ring when you do 3rd. On a pro-shifted trans, you have to remove the slider keys... when you do that, blocker rings are essentially worthless. I wouldn't want to run an unsychronized, non-pro-shifted 4th gear.

You don't pro-shift 1st, it is just normal teeth with no blocker ring. Basically won't go in to 1st if the transmission is rotating.

It's fun at the track, but suckola on the street.

Actually if there are no synchros on first, all you have to do is put it into another gear first, like 5th, then it will go into first. Old Muncie and Saginaw transmissions didn't have synchros on the reverse gear, so all you did was put it into any forward gear and that stopped everything inside the trans from rotating. Then you just go into reverse, no synchros, smooth as silk.

Four speed or five? (you might need that 5th if you ever race your bro again, and he asks you to start set back from the line again! )
