Default Clutch Slipping?

If I park my car on a hill and leave it in 4th gear, it will roll. I would think that the car wouldn't go anywhere. This clutch has maybe a 1000 miles on it. I don't see how it is possible to slip right now.

I would guess that it is slipping. Does it seem to be slipping when driving?

No, but then again I don't think I really know how it feels for a clutch to be slipping during driving. For it to be slipping means something's wrong. I just had installed put ~500 EASY miles on it and have only gotten on it like 3 times, cause I was down with a broken rear.

When your driving put it in 5th or 6th at a lower speed and floor it watch the tach for a rise in rpm without acceleration, you can also pull the e brake and try to move the car in 1st and if it doesnt stall you have a sliping problem.

My girlfriends house is built up so the yard slopes away. Hince a man-made hill. There aren't any natural ones in Florida.

The clutch may not be slipping. The engine may just be rotating. If I park my car on a hill it will actually turn the engine over as it rolls down.

Well the hill I occasionally park on is steep as hell... I don't know how steep the hill is you're talking about.
