Default Grinding Problem

Whenever i shift into 3rd around redline it grinds a little bit going into gear but always goes in. This has happen with 4th and 5th too but 3rd is like everytime. Usually if i hold the clutch in longer and shift kinda slow it wont grind. Also if i just have the clutch pushed in and try and throw it back and forth between 2 and 3 it will grind the same way going into 3rd. Is my clutch just not disengaging or what? Also just to let u guys know my shift fork is probably a bit bent too, every once in a great while itll just pop out of 3rd. I have a 5.0 now but ya. Should i try and do the drill mod then bleed the system and see if that helps? Also where is the valve to bleed the system, or is there more to it than that? Thanx in advance

You need to get your synchros rebuilt. The same thing happened to me and it was like $1000. I had a full rebuild though.

Well that kinda sucks I'm pretty broke right now and if I do it I'd like to have everything upgraded. Anyone know some quality shops around Chicago? Is sending my core out for a rebuilt one with upgraded parts a bad idea?

It is probably the blocker rings on the synchro packs. If you rebuild it I suggest some of the carbon based ones they are a little tougher. Other than that a steel shift fork would be a good investment if you plan further abuse.
