Was stuck in 4th gear
Was stuck in 4th gear was stuck in 4th for about 5 days and then i finally got it out from what i understand the keys have either been crushed or broke. but now im having probs. w/ 3rd now. whats the deal ??? it was working fine foir about 4-5 days now it grinds like hell going into 3rd if it even goes , and when it does it kicks it bak out under light acceleration. Are the syncronizers completely gone and I also noticed a rattling noise under hard acceleration sounds just like a loose shift **** but its not i took it off and it still makes the same noise the trannys got 95000 miles on it HARD MILES that is !!! any help?????
I've been checking on www.gearbox.com for parts. is this a good place for parts ????? is their a seperate kit to rebuild the snycros. if so how much $$$$ am i lookin at?????

but as far as the rattling noise would the snycro be causing that as well ????? and what all comes w/ the basic rebuild kit? I want to build the tranny so i WONT have this prob. again later down the road.
