Anyone know anything about this SLP clutch? Performance...Feel....HP limit...Durablility???
<<Clutch Package, 1998-02 LS-1 Camaro/Firebird 1997-02 Corvette
This high performance clutch package is the perfect replacement or high performance upgrade for your 1997-02 LS1 powered manual transmission Camaro, Firebird or Corvette.
An OE Quality clutch disc and self adjusting pressure plate are mated to a high strength, lightweight, billet steel flywheel. Much stronger than stock, the billet flywheel is also 8 pounds lighter! The pressure plate offers 20% more clamping force than stock and the disc has a heavy duty spline. Your engine will rev faster and your 1/4 mile times will drop significantly.
P/N:60026 Clutch Package, 1998-02 LS-1 Camaro/Firebird 1997-02 Corvette >>
How about this compared to the Z06 clutch assy, stronger weaker...?
What else would be needed Slave...??
TIA

It sounds good, but all SLP products "sound" good. <img src="gr_tounge.gif" border="0"> I don't know how well it works, but, they advertise 20% more clamping force. Whether or not that equals 20% more HP/TQ capacity, I don't know. For the price, the Ram VDS clutch setup seems a better deal. Maybe someone who has one can give us some more info.
