Can someone tell me what the purpose of the reverse lockout switch? I was reading an A4 to M6 swap writeup where they just put an expansion or freeze plug in the hole where the reverse lockout is supposed to be. Is this an item I can just leave out instead of bothering with the wiring? TIA for any help.
