Just went racing today and every time I was racing when I reached 5500rpm in 1st gear it felt like I hit a rev limiter or something. Car shook for a second, but kept on going after it.

Is this normal? Please help guys!

Also, is it normal for car to be shaking and vibrating when racing?

Were you low on fuel? Is your MAF sensor / intake tract clean?

Well the tach's are slow so you probably hit the rev limiter and it cut fuel. That would explain the shake. Now if it is still shaking then you have a problem.

Tank was almost full and I never messed with my MAF. Will open it tomorrow or something.

I doubt it was a rev limiter because after that hit RPMs kept on goin up until 6k and the rest of the gears were fine until 6k rpm.

It could be a lot of different things. I suspect it being something to do with fuel.

yeah, but why 1st gear? 2nd and 3rd go all the way to the red line.... weird ****
