wow, I guess I have to reply to my own post.
I got to drive my friends new cvt-V cadilac and the clutch felt real nice. Fast shifts and nice feel. The shifter was stock and felt sloppy. But 04 and 05 parts seem to
be better, does anyone know if these part will work in an f car
thanks
(if you reply)

You could have answered your own reply by doing a quick search for ZO6. Yes, the clutch kit for the ZO6 does fit in the F-bodies. I don't think the caddy has the same clutch, different part number at least, so your comparison might be a waste of time.

But
I am trying to find out about the slave cylinder for an 04 z-06 as it does
not need the drill mod. Gm fixed this problem. If it fits in an F car the it
would be nice to skip the "drill mod step" also the engine in a cvt-v is an
ls-6 so I thought some clutch part would match to save GM some money.

Thanks for your reply

The drill mod is done because of the restriction in the line that connects to the master cylinder, not in the slave.

Default thanks for 2nd reply

I think the line you are talking about is conected to the slave. correct me
ifi m wrong, but I think the 04 slave come with the line attached without
the restriction. If anyone reading this post knows the answer please reply
as it would help people trying to get their clutchs sorted out.

Thanks

Yes, we are talking about the same line. It's connected to the master and the slave, but the restriction is in the line on the side that goes to the master. I didn't know GM removed the restriction in '04 setups. Anybody else know?
