Default flywheel resurfacing

what kind of prices are you paying to have the STOCK GM flywheel resurfaced?

I'm looking at a spec star stage III, and they said that I could use the stock flywheel. I would like to have it resurfaced first.

any drawbacks to this?

My car is just a bolt on car, and it will be getting a cam soon.

Why not do a search on spec?
A flywheel resurfaced usuall goes for around $35 & up.
You get what you pay for......

Because I already know what clutch I am getting, I need to know about using the stock flywheel with it.

Would I be better off spending the extra money for a new flywheel, Or would the stock one hold up well? (with my mods)

If you are getting a Spec clutch they do not reccemend using the stock flywheel without having it resurfaced. I would just spend the extra money and get a new one, that way you know what your getting. When I had my clutch installed I got a brand new steel billet light wieght flywheel for $175, it didn't come from a sponsor here so if you would like some info on it you can pm me.
