t56 help asap I took my trans to some old man to fix, ive heard so many good things about him, my friends have taken him lots of buss, but when i take him my trans he gets something stuck up his ***. First he tells me he would have it done in two days, that turned into a week 1/2 of not answering my calls and a lot of b/s. Finally i get it back and put it in and went to drive it and it feels some kind of grinding noise even when i push the clutch in and the gears are hard to put in. I dont want to take it to that man cause im afraid im ganna kick his *** and use his head as a shift ****, I need someone who can check it out maybe fix whats wrong, im willing to pay i JUST WANT MY **** DONE RIGHT, if anyone can help it would keep me from kicking an old mans *** Thanks...
I suggest before you go off on it or the old dude, you perform a proper hyd. system bleed. You need to be certain the clutch releases. Does it shift ok w/ engine off? THis would indicate clutch release issues. Bleeding beats yanking the trans. again.
