Default Major Problem with new tranny and clutch Help

Hey I just my car out of the shop maybe 3 hours ago. My tranny went to **** so I had a brand new t56 put in. And also had a McLeod Clutch put in too. Right before they got done with it they told me that the slave cylinder went out so they had to put a new one in. That was cool until I got down the road and was about an hour away when I stated to feel my car shake if I accelerated. Then I got a check engine light. My friend hooked it up and it says that it has knock from #7. But it feels like it is comming from the drivetrain. Especially when I come to a full stop and try to go. The whole car starts shakking when I let out the clutch. Please any help would be greatly apperciated. Because right now Im like 3,500 in the hole. Oh and its a 97 LT1.

Check your plugs and wires. It sounds like you have developed a miss. When the engine is underload it will get a lot worse. I had a similar problem on a 99 LS1 with the number 4 cylinder. Apparently when the mechanic installed the new plugs, he dropped one and then used it and the electrode was bent badly causing a missfire.

It is more than likely clutch chatter. You are probably not given it enough gas off a start. Which Mcleod clutch did you get, on and clutch chatter is normal on a aggressive clutch during break in.
