Hey Tony,

Let me know when it gets there. UPS should have it handled.

Hey Joe...Couple questions.

Do you have general power and torque ratings for your trannys?

Also, I've got it where it grinds when I bang second and third, and it pops out of third durning normal driving when I let the clutch out...I've heard the synchros and the fork. Any ideas?

I'm positive I'll have a job for you come this spring when I get the cash. But I'm hoping I didn't do too much damage with it grinding those few times.

Question... Last time I was at the track, 3 of my 4 runs, 2nd gear would grind. First time on drag radials, 2nd has never ground before and I was shifting as I always do... Feels almost normal under average driving now, except that sometimes it feels like 2nd gear "hooks" while shifting OUT of 2nd... Also, 5th might be hinky too. If I shift out of 5th, bring it down to 4th, then back up to 5th, all with the clutch in, 5th will slightly grind... Otherwise, 5th is fine. Any ideas?

Also, what kind of upgrades do you put into these rebuilds? Price quotes, power ranges? Thanks.

Hmmm, this sounds promising. I have the typical '3rd gear grind', but only at higher rpms. I think I also have a pilot bearing that is in need of attention. I can shift into 3rd with no problems below approx. 4000 rpm. Anything above that and I'm clinching my teeth hoping it doesn't grind.

Just some background, I have a McCleod single disc with the adjustable master cylinder. I've got it adjusted to engage about 25% off the floor, but it probably needs to be bled again as the clutch peddle gets a little mushy after some high rpm shifts.

I don't race the car, but it would be nice to be able to shift above 4000rpms into 3rd and not worry about the tranny blowing up.

Thanks. Feel free to PM with suggestions and comments.
