Default Tranny fluid help please look!

I just bought a 1999 camaro ss with 13000 original miles a few months ago after selling my 02. My question is i know the car has sat a lot in its life obviously for only having 13000 miles. So since the tranny fluid is the original one that came with the car should i change it since its kinda old? also how do you change it? Some say a pump is required. Or should i just take it somewhere? Thanks

Change it if ya want the pump is like 4 bucks at Auto zone...just be careful that trans has paper blocker rings in it... the wrong type of fluid can **** it off

B&M Trick Shift is a good way to harass the aforementioned paper rings. -Experience
