Default 22174970 Stock Trans Mount

My M6 trans mount was getting soft and starting to tear. I tried an ES Poly mount and it made my car sound like an 8 cylinder Diesel running on 6 cylinders. I bought a new stock mount part number 22174970 and the weird thing is it looks to be about 1/4" to 1/3" taller than the stock one I took out. At first I thought it was just that the old mount had worn out, but it sure looks like the base of the mount looks a lot shorter on the old one. Are there more than one tranny mount for a F-body? Is there one mount for an auto and one for an M6?

I went ahead and put in the new mount and the only trouble is it moves the Y pipe up slightly causing it to bump the body when I get clutch chatter.

BUMP for question about same part number:

Everything I'm finding indicates 22174970 is a mount for an automatic trans. Is it the same part number for the M6?

If not, I'd like to know the OE part number for the '98-'02 F-Body M6 stock rubber mount. Can't seem to find it.

Thanks.

Boy this project is dragging on

I need to grab a nut for the trans mount. I don't have access to it at the moment. Can anyone tell me what size is needed for the circled thread?

Thanks.

EDIT: It's M12 x 1.75
