Default Re: HELP!!!! B&M Ripper shifter

When I instaled my B&M Ripper shifter I could only use the even number gears (2,4,6) and it would pop
out of gear when I would try to use the odd numbered gears (1,3,5). I fixed this problem by double cheking how the washers for the bolts were installed so that the shifter was centered in the opening. I then backed the stop all the way out, put the car in 3rd gear and then set the stop. Adjusting the stop is what cured my problem.

I hope this helps... <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

You need to back out the stops or remove them. If you decide to leave them in then use loctite so they don't move.

Yeah you probably have the stop screwed in to far, just back it out.
