Do you just let it go or ease into it.......

It's when you let the clutch slip out from under your foot. It springs up instantly.

The 12 bolt itself is a very strong piece. When set up right with the proper parts and splined axles it can take all the abuse most of us here could throw at it. There are very few LS1's on this board that actually NEED a 9". When you hear of the 12 bolt taking a crap it's hardly ever a shaft or the R@P. It's always the damn posi. Add a Detroit Locker to your 12 bolt or spool and don't worry.

After I bought my car with 48k on it, and my piece of crap 10 bolt went out (and I hadnt even raced it) I found out that the rear had been out 3 times in my car. So with that, I bought a Moser 12 bolt, all the fixings on it. I am completely satisfied with it, and it give me piece of mind driving it around knowing that I have a nice strong rearend that I dont have to worry about......

Why not go with the 9"? It seems to be about $400 cheaper than the 12-bolt, and stronger. Where's the drawback?

wieght, efficiency, and in a lot of cases its overkill. and it can be more expensive if u get them both fully loaded.

Alright, so a Moser 12-bolt with 33 splined axles and a True Trac posi on 4.10's will hold 4k dumps from 400whp with drag radials? Just shooting out questions for my future.
