Default Why change shifters?

Whats the point in changing shifters. Example: I have the Hurst M6, what would I gain by switching to the Pro 5.0 or the Ripper? Thanks!

I'm changing to a 5.0 just because I like the feel. I have a hurst now.

First of all the actual shift itself is much shorter. And second of all it feels a lot firmer and crisper. After you try one out, you'll see that the stock hurst it a lot longer and feels a lot more "rubbery." It's definitely a mod that's worth the money and has an easy install.
