I have a T5 world class tranny. I have broken 2 trannies in the last 6 months. I'm looking for upgraded parts that will hold 800-900 HP. Currently I'm pushing 425 at teh wheels and plan on pushing over 500 early next year.

Where can I get some upgraded tranny parts?

 

You don't mention the torque level ( what transmissions actually see) but the T5 will not live long above 310 lb-ft. - where the strongest production gearset is rated. I suspect you have out grown the T5 and any $ you spend with"upgrade " aftermarket parts is not well spent. If you think & believe someone makes a stronger T5 - get it in writing and have a signature on a warranty.

 

time to gain some wait and get a t56 or call up G-Force and order up there T-5. i know a few people running 9.70's on G-force transmissions

 

On a mustang dyno the Max TQ was 385. I do not have dyno jet numbers.... I've heard G-force T-5's are holding 600RWHP.... Maybe I'll try them... thanks
