Default Mcleod and clutch release resistance?

Just a quick question here. I just installed a new tranny, Slave Cyl, Mcleod twin disk and master. I bench bled the hydrolics before I installed everything. the clutch feels good going down, but coming up there is some slight resistance for the first half of the pedal movement, then it feels normal. Do you think there is air in the system causing this? Any input is appreciated...

Thanks,
Dan

Is your clutch return spring on the pedal still intact?
I know when I rebuild my Mcleod clutch master, it is sticky for the first 20-30 or so first depressions of the pedal. It does the same thing come up a little slow.
Did you adjust it? Where is it releasing mid-pedal travel?

Car isn't back to running condition so not sure where it releases yet. I did some tinkering and loosened the clutch/brake/gas pedal assembly from the floor board and the problem went away. Since this is an A4-M6 conversion, i'll guess it was off just a hair. It's all fixed now, thanks for the help!
