It broke for the second time just now before i got home when doing routine WOT run going home. Im pretty sure it was that because it feels different just like the first time almost like the throw on the pedal is shorter <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> only thing is last time there was a part of the spring on the floor, this time the sound was more of a crunch not a crack and i DOUND A PIECE OF GLASS on the floor! is there anything glass that i might have missed when being under that part of the car??? And if it is indeed the Spring from what i told you guys, ESPECIALLY THOSE MANUAL guys running really fast times, have you kept replacing it or at some point ecided not to keep getting it fixed?

hmmmmm , how can you tell if your spring is broken and where is it located ? Im having tranny ? clutch issues and just wonder if this might be it >>> My pedal seems to let out eariler then before !!!

not exactly answering my question, but youll tell becase youll be able to push your clutch in with more ease than normal making it seem like the throw is shorter............... now back to my questions

I would jsut about put money on the glass being picked up by one of your shoes and taken into the car that way, and the clutch problem sorta made you look in that area and you found it.

The only thing at the front of the car that uses glas would be the windshield, and I dont see how a chunk of that could come off inside the car spontaneously, plus if there was a chunk out of it somehow I would think it woudl be pretty obvious, adn crack would almost definetly develop....
