Default Will the drill mod help my slipping clutch?

Under hard acceleration, I can feel my clutch slipping, my car only has 12000 miles on it so the clutch is fairly new. Will the drill mod allow the clutch to engage firmer preventing it from slipping? I am trying to avoid a new clutch because of the money.

Also , should i just get a new Mc Cloed master cylinder when the stocker is out rather than drilling the stock one and replacing it? Will the aftermarket one lock the clutch up tighter?

Well, the slipping part may or may not be helped by the drill mod. If the clutch is slipping right after releasing the pedal, it might be helpful. If the clutch is slipping while driving around in gear and just hitting the gas, well, I think the clutch is worn. The drill mod will allow fluid to move to and from the slave cylinder faster, this allows faster engagement/disengagement. The drilling is done to the line between the master and slave, and I don't know if the new master will come with the line. I am definitely going to get the McLeod master cylinder and do the drill mod when I replace my clutch.

what is the best clutch for the cheapest money? obviously the more you pay the better the product you get but what is a good, strong, "budget minded" clutch?

I just installed a 402/6130 Ram setup in my car, and it ROCKS. Almost zero change in driveability, and this same setup is holding 600+ rwhp applications. This very same clutch held Harlan's TT power for over 15K miles . The 6130 disk is the more aggresive disk, but if you don't plan on making over 400 rwhp there are several other disk options. There is a 300 disk, and 900 series disk that drive like stock and hold real well on bolt on cars. I wouldn't buy anything but a Ram clutch. Only 70 bucks more than a 02 Z06 clutch, and lasts twice as long and holds twice the power. Mine kicks ***!!

I was thinking of going with the RAM, where is the best place to get one? Do any of our sponsors sell them, and what do they cost? I can't believe my clutch went at 12,000 miles when I have never been to the track
