any tricks to putting tranny fluid in a T56?

I still can't believe you guys would pull the shifter to fill it. Not knocking you, I do things diffrent ways aswell, but to me it just means more work.
I changed my fluid on an oil change, so the car was already jacked up. The engine was warm, and the tubing can be routed so that it touches nothing hot. Its just so damn easy!!!
I just wouldn't want to get in my car and risk leaving tool marks on the plastic console, or splling ATF in it. IF I was curious to see what was in there, then yeah, I'd pull it apart.

You should be under the car to check the fluid level anyway...Just got out of my ASE TDL Tech class, either way you fill it, the fluid should be just even with the threaded hole not runinng over them but on the verge, that is a correct fill (CAR MUST BE LEVEL)...So going back to that I would just go with the pump, so the oil is not scavenged and held up by gears, and corners of the tranmission so you have a proper fluid level in the transmission...
