Default How long will a stock clutch/trans last?

Im looking at buying a car that has 7k on a new 97LT1 motor in it but the body/drivetrain has 120k. The guy who has owned the car for only about a year and isthe one who put the motor in said the clutch hasnt been replaced. Is that even possible? How long do you think the clutch/trans would last w/ 120k on them?

Trans should last a while. clutch will last as long as you let it.

i dunno how long it can last but mine just went with only 27835 on the odometer...a solid 2-3 shift and the clutch was toast. its not a huge ordeal to replace the clutch so i wouldnt let that sway your opinion too much on buying it unless there is obvious problems with it slipping or acting stupid
