Default Centerforce DF vs. Textralia.....

Which would you go with and why? Any experience with either one?

The Tex doesn't cost much more so price really isn't the deciding factor.

Help!

What is your application? Depending on that will ultimately determine what you will need to run for your setup. Most people probably would tell you Tex, but I would say SPEC only because I am and have been a fan for several years now. I know that you didnt list it in there, but there are more than 2 types of clutches out there that I would consider good. I have had a SPEC stage 3 and a 4. If you are wanting this for high horse application, then I would say Stage 5 spec for 700+.
You need to let us know what you have!

For now it's just bolt ons but eventually it will be heads/cam. Looking for something that is easy to drive around town but will hold up to dragstrip duty.

If anyone is currently using the DF, please post your opinions and your mods. I've heard nothing but good things about the Textralia. I'd rather stay away from Specs because of the horror stories that always seem to come up.

Thanks

well i had a CF DF clutch in my turbo V6 ford.. and loved it. held up for 2 years on 225whp and took a major beating.

as far as my clutch choice for my h/c package, I'm ordering a LS7 clutch. OEM clutch shouldn't have any chatter, and not light up bellhousings. orangeapeel has had a lot of good luck with SPEC and East Side Performance recommends them as well, but I just don't want to deal with the mannerisms of a performance clutch. If the LS7 ends up shitting out, I'll definately just go for the top and get a Textralia from BYUNSPEED.

You have a 12" or the 11"??? I'm needing one like asap but I don't want to have to change it again because I'm putting a turbo on and uping the horsepower soon...
