Help!! In Deep On Clutch Install!! OK, This is the exact situation I DON'T WANT!!
What way does the pilot bearing go?
What was in it was more of a bushing
What I got was more of a needle bearing
It has a smaller ID because of it.
Is this the right part?
If so, what side goes toward the engine? 'Open'
or Closed?'

http://www.installuniversity.com/ins...sity/index.htm There are some pictures on that site. Where did you get the new pilot bearing? When I changed mine I think I got the new one either at napa or oreilly and it worked perfect.

There isn't a word on the pilot bearing on Install University, I have their stuff printed out, it's what I've been using today.
It's a Timken from AutoZone. The PN cross referenced with the NAPA listing for it, so I thought it would be good. If it's a bearing I'd rather use a Timken, which is why I bought the one I have.

open end of bearing towards the crank.
I put a dab of loc-tite on my arp flywheel bolts, my Spec3 instructions that came with the clutch said to put anti-sieze on there but i was skurred.
