spec 3, what flywheel???
i bought a spec 3 clutch, and just been sitting in my room for a while, its time to bolt it up since my stock clutch is going.
my questions are:
what flywheel should i use for a drag racing app.?(ls6,spec,fidanza,ect.)
do i need to replace anything while i got the tranny down???
any hints are appreciated, thanx

I've read that autox guys should go with the aluminum where as the dragstrip guys should go with the steel one. I'm running the stock flywheel now with my stage3 but upgrading to a billet steel when I get my spec4

I got the 17.4lb. steel flywheel from AMS Racing(on eBay) for $150 shipped to go with my SPEC 3. It is AWESOME. I only have 200 miles on the clutch(still on factory hydraulics, too...long story, don't ask, GM slave is on it's way)...absolutely NO chatter.

I'll put in another vote for the AMS billet flywheel. I've got about 20K miles on mine with my Spec 3 and a friend has about the same on his. We both got the flywheels for $125 shipped off of ebay.
