what socket will fit the t56 clutch slave bleed valve?
I was trying to bleed the clutch on my t56 today and ran into a problem... I can't find a socket that will fit the bleed valve I can't see anything up there but it feels like the valve is too close to the case for the socket to fit. I tried several different 11mm, 12mm, 7/16, and 1/2 sockets and none of them would fit. The closest was a 1/4" drive 7/16 socket that felt like it would catch an edge but there just wasn't room for it.
Has anyone else ran into this problem? are there some sort of super thin walled sockets that I could use for this?
Thanks,
Jeff

I used a 1/4'' ratchet and the whole thing fit in there no problem. I wish I would have have had my craftsman with me though cause all you have to do to switch directions is flick the switch, the one I was using didn't have that feature. I love craftsman tools.

I like to use a 7/16 short socket on a 1/4 breaker bar.
Works good for bleeding, no switching the ratchet, & fits the tight spot.
Another option is to modify the trans tunnel slightly to allow a little more acess.
A BFH w/ the trans is out does wonders, but not necessary IMO.
