Well I finally got it all together. I didn't realize it, but somehow the transmission real seal got torn somewhere in the process, so it was leaking fluid all over. I got to drive it today and it behaves better now that the bolts are tight. The clutch engagement is still pretty early, about where is was when first installed. I think the master cylinder is going out, it seems like its not pumping as much fluid as it should. I will try to upgrade it with a newer design stock one and see if that helps.

Thanks for the info and update. Let us know if the new master helps or not. By the way, how many miles on your current master? Debating on replacing mine or not.

That's the procedure I've followed in the past. I figured if it worked on brakes then it should work on the other thing in the car that uses brake fluid and has a bleeder. lol Didn't help on my car though cause my stock cluth is shot. But if you do it and you keep adding brake fluid every 2-3 bleeder openings it's also a nice way to replace the fluid in the whole assembly. I did it about 20 times to clean out the old fluid. It's a alot easier on your leg than doing the brakes. lol
