Should I replace the slave cylinder

Default Should I replace the slave cylinder

I have an 02 Z28 with 44k miles on it. Im gonna be putting in a spec 3+ and billet flywheel. Should I replace the slave cylinder as well.

No since its an 02 you already have updated hydrolics and dont have a ton of miles on it so unless its broke dont fix it

It's up to you but I always replace the slave with any new clutch. It's cheap insurance and you'll sleep better at night knowing you have all new parts.
Heck I replaced my 02 slave @ 15K miles.

I'd change it out.... you'd be pissed if you get it back together and 500 miles later is starts leaking.

Thats what I as thinking, thats why I say change it, pulling the tranny isnt one of my favorite jobs to do on the car.
