^^ On their tranny rebuilt description, it says they use a "steel 3/4 shift fork" and "vespel shift pads". Is vespel the bronze parts you are talking about? Thanks for the help.

The vespel shift pads are found in the ssca tremec t56. They are not bronze they are a stronger nylon. The stock ones are nylon but the ones he is using are somewhat stronger than stock. I would request the bronze from him and not the vespel. They are not as durable.

Just as joe said. The vespel pads are an upgrade for the stockers, stronger nylon. We can upgrade to bronze shift pads in any of our units. It just depends on which shift forks you want done, most people will go with 1-4 in the bronze since those are the most abused gears, the upgrade is around $60.

Just finished my car this weekend with the tranny rebuilt by Joe (and Amber). It shifts great. I haven't had a chance to push it since the weather hasn't been great here, actually it's currently starting to flurry.
Thanks guys.
Thanks guys.

Well, I was finally able to rip on the car yesterday....
Here's my scenario:
Found out my pilot bearing was trashed and swapped that.
Replaced my 2000 slave cylinder with a new revised slave and that feels great.
Re-blead my Mcleod master cylinder with the Valvoline dot 4 fluid (non synthetic of course)
I wrapped the line going into the slave with heater hose to protect it from heat
Of course the transmission got fully rebuilt by T56-rebuilds with their 1a package.
Well, first off, the clutch feels great. Much smoother engagement/dis-engagement than before.
I finally ripped on it yesterday and was quite happy.... it went into each go so smoothly including 3rd and 4th at damn near wot at 6300rpm. Afterwards, the clutch still felt great, solid peddle pressure and all.
Thanks T56rebuilds. Joe and Amber were great to work with.
