Shifter really feels like a shifter now, much more tactile sense when going into gear, not this rubber giving way first before actually getting into gear (and subsequently not getting into reverse 9 out of 10 times)

Not that I was having issues with the stock stick, no missed shifts or anything, but I wanted more feedback from the shifter and I just wasn't getting it. Also the throw was rediculously long with the stock stick.

I also installed it against the instructions provided by ws6store. If I had followed it to a t, it would have the more machined side against the the shifter. If it was to be moved over, washers were to be inserted between the shifter and the stick. Since there was only a 2 mm difference between the more machined side, vs the non machined side, I opted for the less machined side as it allowed me to have the shifter stick close to its original layout position without having to shim it.
