Dropped socket in bellhousing while trying to bleed clutch
Does anyone know an easy way to get a small socket out of the bellhousing? It slipped off the bleeded valve while bleeding the clutch and I do not want to have drop the transmission again.

well i did the same exact thing when trying to install my water temp sender. i got pissed off bc i couldnt break the plug loose, and the socket fell right in the bellhousing.
endedup having to break att the bolts loose and slide the tranny back as far as it would go on the driveshaft. i didnt have to drop the tranny, but i tried using a flexible magnet and any other tricks i could think of before sliding it back.
and, sliding it back doesnt take too long. so might as well just do that since its gaurunteed to work.
