T56 ratio swap?
i want to swap my 5th & 6th to a more race friendly ratio. are there any options out there? something like a .83 5th and .70 6th?
the car is used for road racing.

It is possible to a certain degree. The overdrives you are looking for come with the 03-04 Cobra T56( also retaining the 1-4 ratios). You can also get close to those OD ratios with an aftermarket model T56 but the 1-4 ratios will also change. To build these into your Fcar castings should be left to a trans guy.Bottom line is you can't just throw the different gears in there.

Heres the specs on my trans, Built by RPM Transmission:
Gear Ratios: 2.66/1.78/1.43/1.00/.80/.62
RPM 30 spline mainshaft conversion - same as the Viper
RPM 26 spline Viper input shaft - bigger diameter than stock
Full micropolish by Performance Metal
Cryo treated by 300 Below
G-Force solid keys 1-6 gears - replaces stock stamped keys
Heavy duty steel 3-4 shift fork
RPM 1-2 modified shift fork - steel insert
New compressed carbon particle blocking rings
RPM bronze fork pads - replaces stock plastic pads
All new bearings and seals
All clearances set to race specs
Includes correct driveshaft yoke
