Default Trans temp gauge in a M6?

Looking to get another gauge for my pod...dual gauge pod....i have a a/f ratio and i i was thinking of getting a Trans temp gauge.

Now the question is,.....i have a M6 so is it really needed? I know automatic guys get it for their Torque converts, just wondering if it might be bennifical?!

Thanks!

Unless you're planning on doing extensive road racing, or the Silver State Challenge, I don't see the benefit, other than just looking cool

I would go with an oil temp. Like said above, I wouldnt worry about the tranny temp unless you were heavy into road racing, or open road racing.

ThaNKS for the input guys. So far ordered and shipping to myy door as of this moment...

Dual Gauge Pod- with a/f ratio (2 1/16)
Oil Temp-2 5/8 (fits in vents)-(autometer ultralite)
Water Temp- (2 5/8) Fits in vents too (autometer ultralite)

and i have my 5" autometer monster tach (black face)

It's hard to find a somewhat cheap fuel pressure guage. I will continue looking.

Any other suggestions for a 2 1/16th gauge?

I have trans temp gauge in my car.. i used the drain plug, autometer supplies an adapter that fits perfect..

Ive noticed the following..

Long road trips.. at a constant 85-90 mph.. 165-170*F

around town.. usually 155-160*F

Road racing.. 185-200*F

yeah true.. Maybe Joe or someone that know's, can chime in here.

I was thinking of going to a T56 oil cooler for when I do road racing. I have a few pumps to choose from that will handle the oil and heat. Just not sure if its needed yet.

My oil cooler, however, helped out a lot!
