Default Clutch Break In!!!

I will be putting in the RAM 402/6130 tomorrow, as well as the McLeod Adj M/C. I was wondering how long I would have to break in the clutch. Does the sintered iron take longer? I am thinking 300-400 miles. There is a mustang in town that wants to race (get his @$$ spanked) and I need to know how many miles to drive around town before opening it up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just put in my cartek. I'm at 400 and I can feel it still needs a little time. I'm gonna wait till I'm at 500 since thats what i've been told anyway.

Wanna know what my break in was? .005 miles before I came out of my neighborhood sideways <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> .

2100 miles later, no problems <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Ya , Im a little unsure of a clutch "break in" in these cars , I know on my mustangs I just slapped a new one in and headed to the track , but for some reason people say to have a break in on these cars ?? I put my ZO6 clutch in this past weekend and put 150-200 miles on it and headed to the track , it bites hard , so we will see how long it lasts !

good luck !
